Birthday Parties

You supply the place and we'll bring our party to you!

Birthday Party Animal Encounters are presented "show-and-tell" style: we take out each animal one at a time, provide age-appropriate interesting facts about the animals, and participants get a chance to interact with them.

To confirm your party, we require a deposit of $100. *If you do not pay this your party is not in our calendar.*  The remainder of the party balance will be due before the party visit starts (a Square payment link will be sent the Wednesday before the party or you can pay the day of with cash or Venmo). We can not start our visit with an unpaid balance.

Birthday parties are recommended for ages 4 & up.

TEMPERATURE GUIDELINES: IF IT IS UNDER 65 DEGREES OR OVER 95 DEGREES VISITS WOULD NEED TO BE INSIDE FOR THE COMFORT OF ANIMALS AND CHILDREN.

Request Your Birthday Visit

Touchable Only Animal Encounter - $150

This animal visit includes:

  • A 30-45 minute interactive show and tell presentation.

  • 8 animals of your choice.

  • Animals are touchable only.

  • Lots of photo opportunities to take of everyone touching the animals.

  • This is for groups of up to 35 participants

Hands-On Animal Encounter - $200

This encounter includes:

  • A 45 minute interactive show & tell presentation

  • 6 of your favorite animals.

  • Participants can handle the animals that can be held.

  • Opportunities for each participant to take their photo with the animals.

  • Time to ask questions throughout the program.

  • This is for groups of up to 15 participants.

  • For ages 6 and up.

Wild Science - $325

Turn your child’s birthday into a science and animal adventure they’ll never forget!

Our Wild Science Birthday Party brings together the best of both worlds — live animal encounters and hands-on science fun.

🐾 Meet the Animals
Children get up close with 4 amazing animal ambassadors of their choice. They’ll learn fascinating facts, see the animals’ unique features, and even get safe touch/handling opportunities. The birthday child always gets to help first!

🔬 Become a Scientist!
After meeting the animals, it’s time for the experiments! Every child gets to join in on three kid-approved science labs:

  • Cloud Dough – Soft, squishy fun kids can take home.

  • Pop Rocket — It fizzes, it bubbles, and then… WHOOSH, it blasts off!” 🚀

  • Dancing Colors Lava Tubes – Make your own mini lava “lamp” to keep!

🎉 What’s Included:

  • 4 live animal ambassadors with interactive presentation

  • 3 exciting, hands-on science experiments

  • Take-home creations (cloud dough + lava tube)

  • Special first-in-line opportunities for the birthday child

  • Group photo time with the animals

  • 60-75 minutes of fun!

Add-ons for Animal Encounters:

  • Individual Fossil Digs with 4 fossils inside, $6 each (will add 15-20 minutes to your visit)

  • Individual Gemstone digs with 4 gemstones inside, $6 each (will add 15-20 minutes to your visit)

  • Breakable Geodes, $2 each (will add 10-15 mins to your visit)

  • Make & Take: Gemstone Necklace, $5 each (will add 10-15 mins to your visit)

  • Tortoise Feeding Experience: $25, each guest will be able to feed our 30 pound sulcata, Spike, for a fun time they will not forget! (will add about 20 minutes)

What you need to know...

  • We recommend to schedule our visit to start 15-30 minutes after your gathering starts to allow for all guests to arrive.

  • Please keep your pets in a different area than our animals. We love all animals but need to keep our animals and yours safe.

  • Loud adults makes it hard for others to listen and they can miss important animal safety instructions or activity instructions. Please keep voices at conversation level.

  • Not all animals are guaranteed but we do our best to make sure you have what you requested. If we have to substitute animals, similar animals will be brought.

  • We reserve the right to decline animal handling privileges to anyone.

No Travel Fee: St. Tammany, Orleans, Upper Jefferson, Tangipahoa, St. Bernard; and MS counties: Harrison, Pearl River, Hancock.

$30 travel fee for the following parishes/counties: Upper Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, Livingston, Washington, Stone, Lamar, & Jackson County

$45 travel fee for: Ascension, East Baton Rouge parishes

Travel fees are paid in addition to program fees and are to offset additional vehicle costs.
