Make your child’s celebration one to remember with a hands-on wildlife birthday adventure! Nature on the Geaux brings live animal ambassadors right to your party for an experience that is fun, interactive, and full of wild discoveries.

Whether you’re looking for a shorter visit for a small celebration or a themed adventure packed with fossils and prehistoric fun, our birthday party packages are designed to be engaging, memorable, and age-appropriate for animal-loving kids.

All birthday visits include an educational presentation, plenty of time for questions, and opportunities for gentle, supervised interaction with select animal ambassadors when appropriate.

A Wild Birthday They'll Never Forget!

Celebrate your special day with an unforgettable wildlife experience! Meet amazing live animal ambassadors while discovering fascinating facts about their habitats, adaptations, and behaviors. This interactive program is designed to inspire curiosity and create lasting memories for animal lovers of all ages.

Recommended for ages 3+

Your Adventure Includes

🐾 Meet 6 live animal ambassadors

🌎 Learn about animal habitats, adaptations, behaviors, and conservation through an engaging, age-appropriate presentation.

🤲 Opportunities for gentle, supervised interaction with select animal ambassadors when appropriate.

❓ Plenty of opportunities for questions and up-close observation.

🎉 The birthday child gets a few extra special moments helping with the presentation whenever possible.

Includes:

  • Around 45-60 minutes

  • Up to 15 participants are recommended, if more individual time spent with animals may be shortened

  • 6 live animal ambassadors (you can select your animal requests in the booking form)

What to Expect at Your Party

  • Animals are introduced one at a time

  • Clear, age-appropriate instructions are given before interactions

  • Adults are welcome to watch and participate

  • For safety reasons, unsupervised access to animals is not permitted

The goal is always a fun, engaging experience that feels exciting without being overwhelming.

💳 Booking & Payment Information

  • A $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and time

  • The remaining balance is due anytime before the party begins

  • Payment links will be emailed after your booking request is approved

  • Accepted payment methods: Stripe, Venmo, or cash

  • Parties cannot begin with an unpaid balance, no exceptions

Setup Notes

The host provides:

  • A clear indoor or shaded outdoor space

  • A 6-foot table

  • Pets secured in a separate area during the visit

Everything else is brought to you.

Birthday Party FAQs

  • It depends on what you request! Each party usually includes an assortment of animal ambassadors. Animals vary from visit to visit and may include reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, or invertebrates.

  • Many animals can be gently touched or handled with guidance. Some animals are not handled and are enjoyed through close observation instead (like the axolotls).

    Clear instructions are given before each interaction to keep both kids and animals comfortable.

  • You’re welcome to share favorite animals or special requests during booking, and we’ll do our best to include them when possible.

    Because our animal ambassadors are living animals, specific animals cannot be 100 percent guaranteed. Availability may change due to shedding cycles, weather, health, stress levels, or other care needs. If an animal is unavailable, a similar ambassador may be included in the program instead.

  • Our Birthday Adventures include up to 15 participants.

    If you have a larger guest list, we'd love to celebrate with you!

    Additional participants can be added for an additional cost as indicated under the party description..

    Some adventures include take-home materials, so this helps cover the cost of those extras. It also helps cover the additional time it may take.

  • Yes. An adult must be present during the program. Parents are welcome to watch, participate, and help younger children as needed.

  • Yes! Parties can be held indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Outdoor parties should have shade available to keep everyone comfortable.

    For the comfort and safety of both animals and participants, live animal programs must be held indoors when temperatures are above 90°F or below 65°F.

    The axolotls are inside only animals so please keep that in mind if they are requested. They cannot be left unsupervised by us, no exceptions.
