Additional ambassadors are selected by Nature on the Geaux based on availability and the comfort and well-being of our animals.

Each individually packaged kit includes two plaster nature shapes, paints, a paintbrush, and everything needed to create their own colorful masterpiece!

It depends on what you request! Each party usually includes an assortment of animal ambassadors. Animals vary from visit to visit and may include reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, or invertebrates.

Many animals can be gently touched or handled with guidance. Some animals are not handled and are enjoyed through close observation instead (like the axolotls).

Clear instructions are given before each interaction to keep both kids and animals comfortable.

You’re welcome to share favorite animals or special requests during booking, and we’ll do our best to include them when possible.

Because our animal ambassadors are living animals, specific animals cannot be 100 percent guaranteed. Availability may change due to shedding cycles, weather, health, stress levels, or other care needs. If an animal is unavailable, a similar ambassador may be included in the program instead.

Our Birthday Adventures include up to 15 participants.

Some adventures include take-home materials, so this helps cover the cost of those extras. It also helps cover the additional time it may take.

Yes. An adult must be present during the program. Parents are welcome to watch, participate, and help younger children as needed.

Yes! Parties can be held indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Outdoor parties should have shade available to keep everyone comfortable.

For the comfort and safety of both animals and participants, live animal programs must be held indoors when temperatures are above 90°F or below 65°F.

The axolotls are inside only animals so please keep that in mind if they are requested. They cannot be left unsupervised by us, no exceptions.
