Each party is interactive and educational, designed to spark curiosity and excitement while keeping the experience safe and positive for both kids and animals.

We offer three birthday party experiences so you can choose the one that best fits your celebration.

🐢 Touchable Only Animal Encounter — $175

45 minutes • 6 animals

Our Touchable Only Animal Encounter is a fun, hands-on birthday experience featuring a variety of animal ambassadors that can all be safely handled for an up-close and interactive visit.

During the program, guests will meet the animals one at a time while learning fun facts, asking questions, and enjoying a fully touchable experience.

• About 45 minutes of animal fun
• Meet 6 animal ambassadors of your choosing
• All animals in this experience are touchable for a fully hands-on interaction
• Plenty of photo opportunities
• Time for questions and interaction throughout the visit

Our Safari Adventure Party is the perfect birthday experience for animal lovers! This interactive program brings a variety of amazing animal ambassadors right to your celebration for a fun and memorable encounter.

During the program, guests will meet the animals one at a time while learning fun facts, asking questions, and enjoying up-close interactions.

What to Expect

• About 60 minutes of animal fun
• Meet 8 animal ambassadors of your choosing
• Guests will meet the animals up close — some can be handled or touched, while others are enjoyed through observation (just depends on what animals you chose)
• Plenty of photo opportunities
• Time for questions and interaction throughout the visit
• A special birthday keepsake for the birthday child

Choose Your Animals

One of the most exciting parts of a Nature on the Geaux birthday party is choosing the animals you'd like to meet.

When booking your party, you may select animals from our ambassador list or choose “Pick for Us” and we’ll bring a fun assortment perfect for the group.

Animal ambassadors are living creatures and occasionally may be unavailable due to shedding, health, or other care needs. If needed, a similar animal will be substituted.

What to Expect at Your Party

  • Animals are introduced one at a time

  • Clear, age-appropriate instructions are given before interactions

  • Adults are welcome to watch and participate

  • For safety reasons, unsupervised access to animals is not permitted

The goal is always a fun, engaging experience that feels exciting without being overwhelming.

Add a creative, take-home keepsake to your party!

Each participating child will:

  • Receive a stuffed axolotl

  • Decorate an aquarium-style habitat

  • Take home an adoption certificate

Participation is optional, and families can choose how many children take part.

 

🐢 Sulcata Tortoise Feeding Experience — $30 per party

Add a truly memorable moment to your celebration!

  • Meet our 30-pound sulcata tortoise

  • Learn fun facts about tortoises and their care

  • Children take turns helping feed the tortoise under close supervision

This experience is only available as a birthday party add-on.

 

Fossil or Gemstone Digs - $6 per child

  • Price: $5 per participant

  • Time: Adds about 20 extra minutes to your visit

  • Options: Choose between a Fossil Dig (4 fossils to keep) or a Gemstone Dig (5 gemstones to keep).

Every child will love the thrill of uncovering their own treasures to take home—making your celebration even more unforgettable!

💳 Booking & Payment Information

  • A $50 or $100 deposit is required to reserve your date and time

  • The remaining balance is due before the party begins

  • Payment links will be emailed after your booking request is approved

  • Accepted payment methods: Stripe, Venmo, or cash

  • Parties cannot begin with an unpaid balance

Setup Notes

The host provides:

  • A clear indoor or shaded outdoor space

  • A 6-foot table

  • Pets secured in a separate area during the visit

Everything else is brought to you.

Birthday Party FAQs

  • Most birthday parties are best for ages 4 and up.

  • The Touchable Party is 30 minutes, and the Safari Adventure Party is 60 minutes.

    The add-ons will add extra time, anywhere from 20-45 minutes.

  • Each party includes an assortment of animal ambassadors. Animals vary from visit to visit and may include reptiles, amphibians, small mammals, or invertebrates, depending on the preferences the host requests.

  • Many animals can be gently touched or handled with guidance. Some animals are not handled and are enjoyed through close observation instead (like the axolotls).

    Clear instructions are given before each interaction to keep both kids and animals comfortable.

  • While specific animal ambassadors can’t be guaranteed, we’ll do our best to bring the ones requested.

    Animal ambassadors are living creatures and occasionally may be unavailable due to shedding cycles, health, or other care needs. If needed, a similar animal will be included.

  • The parties are scheduled by time rather than by headcount. To make sure we stay on schedule, animals are introduced at a pace that works best for the group during the allotted time.

    If you have lots of people, hands-on time may be very limited.

    The fewer people that attend the more hands-on time you will have.

  • Yes. An adult must be present during the program. Parents are welcome to watch, participate, and help younger children as needed.

  • Yes! Parties can be held indoors or outdoors, weather permitting. Outdoor parties should have shade available to keep everyone comfortable.

    The axolotls are inside only animals so please keep that in mind if they are requested. They cannot be left unsupervised by us, no exceptions.
