Celebrate your child’s big day with an unforgettable animal adventure — we bring the party to you! Simply choose your favorite animals, provide the location, and we’ll handle the rest.
Booking Details
Half the party total is required as a deposit to secure your party date. Without the deposit, your party is not added to our calendar. The remainder of the party total is due the Friday before the party. Please note that we will not start a party visit with an unpaid balance, no exceptions.
Recommended Ages: Parties are best suited for children ages 4 and up.
Advance Booking: We recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance to reserve your preferred date and time. At this time, we are fully booked for September and October.

Important Party Guidelines
Temperature Policy: For the safety of both animals and guests, parties must be held indoors if the temperature is below 65°F or above 90°F.
Touchable Only Animal Encounter - $150
This animal visit includes:
A 30-45 minute interactive show and tell presentation.
8 animals of your choice.
Animals are touchable only.
Lots of photo opportunities to take of everyone touching the animals.
This is a great option for younger children!
Safari Party – $250
Get ready for a birthday your child will never forget! Our Animal Experience brings the party to life with amazing live animal ambassadors and unforgettable hands-on fun.
Your 60-minute interactive adventure includes:
8 of your favorite animals — you choose from our incredible lineup!
Close-up encounters with opportunities for guests to take photos while holding or touching the animals
Interactive Q&A time so curious minds can ask all their wild questions.
VIP treatment for the birthday child — they get to meet and interact with each animal first!
Jurassic Adventure - $250
Travel Back to the Age of Dinosaurs!
Calling all future paleontologists! Step into a prehistoric adventure as you discover the incredible connections between dinosaurs and the amazing animals still living today. Meet live animal ambassadors, investigate real fossils, and uncover the secrets of Earth's ancient past through hands-on exploration.

Your Adventure Includes
🦎 Meet 5 prehistoric-inspired live animal ambassadors
🦴 Investigate real fossils and prehistoric artifacts while learning how paleontologists uncover clues from the past.
⛏️ Each participant receives their own fossil dig filled with real fossils to excavate and take home.
🦖 Discover how dinosaurs compare to modern-day wildlife through interactive games and hands-on learning.

• Sulcata Tortoise Feeding Experience - $35 per party
Meet and help feed our 50-pound sulcata tortoise, Spike. (Available only as a birthday party add-on)
This will add on an additional 15-20 minutes to our visit.

Want to add a little more wildlife to your celebration? You can add up to two additional surprise animal ambassadors to your birthday visit.

Additional ambassadors are selected by Nature on the Geaux based on availability and the comfort and well-being of our animals.
• Paint-Your-Own Nature Kits - $5 per child
Each individually packaged kit includes two plaster nature shapes, paints, a paintbrush, and everything needed to create their own colorful masterpiece!
Choose the larger featured shape from:
Hedgehog • Flower • Dragonfly • Butterfly • Turtle • Frog
Each kit also includes a smaller surprise nature shape to paint. Perfect for a party activity or a fun take-home favor!
Party activity add-ons are prepared in advance and must be ordered for your final number of participants.
Travel Fees:
Nature on the Geaux is based in Slidell, Louisiana. Travel within 40 miles of Slidell is included in your program price.
Additional travel fees:
41–60 miles — $25
61–80 miles — $50
81+ miles — Custom travel quote
Travel distance is calculated one way from Slidell to the program location. Any applicable travel fee will be confirmed before booking.
What you need to know...
We recommend to schedule our visit to start 30 minutes after your party starts to allow for all guests to arrive.
Our parties are for up to 15 children. If you have more, please let me know. More children will mean less personal time with the animals so we can stay on schedule.
Children will need to use an inside voice when around the animals.
Please keep your pets in a different area than our animals. We love all animals but need to keep our animals and yours safe.
Make plans for adults that attend to have a place to talk away from the show if they are not participating or supervising. It makes it hard for the children to listen and they can miss important safety instructions. Adults that would like to participate would be very welcome!
