A 6-Week Live Animal Education Experience

Bring an unforgettable, hands-on science experience directly to your school, homeschool group, or organization. Wildlife Explorers Academy is a structured 6-week program where learners dive into the animal kingdom through live animal encounters, interactive lessons, and creative activities.

Each week focuses on a different group of animals, helping learners build a deeper understanding of anatomy, habitats, diet, and real-world conservation.

  • Hosted at your facility ( I will be offering this out of my home in the fall)

  • 6 weekly sessions

  • Perfect for during or after school programs

  • Designed for elementary–middle learners (flexible!)

🗓️ Weekly Themes

Week 1: Mammals
(Hedgehogs,Ferrets, Rats)
Introduction to mammalian anatomy and physiology, including key characteristics such as fur, live birth, and warm-blooded systems. Learners will explore a variety of habitats and native regions while gaining an understanding of mammalian diets and feeding practices.

Week 2: Reptiles
(Bearded Dragons, Skinks, Snakes)
Examination of reptile anatomy and biological functions, including scales, thermoregulation, and survival adaptations. Discussion will include natural habitats, ecosystems, and an introduction to reptile nutrition and feeding habits.

Week 3: Birds
(Chickens)
Study of avian anatomy, including feathers, flight adaptations, and specialized respiratory systems. Learners will explore bird habitats, migration patterns, and dietary needs across different species.

Week 4: Amphibians
(Frogs & Axolotls)
Exploration of amphibian life cycles, with a focus on metamorphosis and environmental dependence. Discussion will include the ecological importance of amphibians, habitat diversity, and dietary preferences.

Week 5: Insects
Overview of insect anatomy and the incredible diversity within this group. Learners will gain insight into insect behavior, communication methods, and social structures, as well as their essential roles in ecosystems.

Week 6: Arachnids
Study of arachnid anatomy, including spiders and scorpions, with a focus on unique adaptations such as venom and silk production. Discussion will highlight their ecological importance and common misconceptions.


Pricing

$125 - Per Student - Per 6, One Hour Sessions.

Schools or Homeschool Groups must have a group of at least 8 students or more, to participate.
