Do you or someone you know have a reptile or other exotic pet that can no longer be cared for and in need of rescue? Don't leave them out in the cold! We can help assist you. Email Tanee at natureonthegeaux@gmail.com

We understand that life and circumstances can change. When you find yourself unable for one reason or another to care for your pet, we're happy to try and help! Please NEVER release your exotic pet into the wild. It is illegal, unethical, and cruel to your pet.

Most of the rescues are trained to become animal ambassadors to educate schools and other groups. If they aren’t suitable for ambassador life, we take the time to seek out suitable pet homes and educate their future owners, plus we are here for any questions they may have along the way.

Our Process

Fill Out Our Form

Our forms allow us to know as much information as possible to help keep the animal happy and healthy. Please be as honest as possible, and if your animal had been to the vet for any reason please contact your vet for their records. The form link will be emailed to you.

 Quarantine

Once received, animals go into quarantine for a minimum of 30 days. During this time they receive a health evaluation, vet care, and any treatments if needed.

Set an appointment

We like to schedule an appointment for this process, we can travel to some extent but it may take a few weeks for us to have availability if we have to travel.

Stay in touch

All animals that become a part of Nature on the Geaux family will be posted on our social media. We will pictures of each animals we receive, and continue updates during their quarantine period.
