Programs:
Curriculum Specific: We can do programs on the food chain, adaptations, classification, ecosystems, life cycles, conservation, endangered species, caring for exotics, or native vs. invasive species. If you don’t see your topic listed, just ask. I’ve been doing this for a while and probably have a lesson plan for what you are looking for!
Amazing Axolotls - Are your learners wild about axolotls? Here is their chance to meet a couple of axolotl animal ambassadors that are in my collection! We will discuss all the fun facts about them and their wild counterparts, the perils they face, how to be a keeper to an axolotl if they want to have one as a pet one day, and why scientists are so interested in them.
Animals Around the World: This program brings animals from all over the world for a fun, educational, and interactive presentation! This gives an overview of our animal ambassadors we have brought and an intro to their natural environment.
Animal Mythbusters: Can hedgehogs shoot their spines? Will cockroaches survive a nuclear bomb? Learn the truth about some well-known animal myths. Students will learn about how to discern information and be introduced to the scientific method. After this, you’ll be seeing wildlife in a whole new way!
